Merril Creek Bald Eagle

Took a hike around Merril Creek and saw a cool bald eagle today. Here's one of the pics

Amazing, they are so beautiful. I've yet to see a wild bald eagle in New Jersey. Nice pic.

I run Merrill Creek every now and then and twice have came around a bend to be with in 20 feet of 2 different eagles (among other animals). Once one had a large trout, when it took off it had it in the clasic eagle grasp, really cool.

 

Once I suprised a hawk with a squirrel, that was cool too.

Very nice! I have some pictures and a few videos of them posted on this website somewhere. Definitely a cool looking bird.
