January Permission?

Hey I know some of you guys will jump down my throat, but I will give it a shot. I'm a college freshman and didn't get the chance to go out during 6-day due to class but I have nearly the month of January off for winter break. Was hoping someone had land i could hunt on for the month, or knows of someone, even point me in the right direction.... I don't want to hunt public i know i could go out and look for a spot and all that but i was so busy this fall with school. No need to jump on me just trying.

Don't knock public land.  If you're on break, start stomping around the woods looking for deer sign.  You'd be surprised how quickly you might find a honey hole after a few days of scouting.

Looks like you're in the south.  I'm way up north.  I could give you some spots in Norvin Green to hunt if you wanted to travel this far up, but it's public land.

Sapere aude.

Audeamus.

When you cannot measure, your knowledge is meager and unsatisfactory.

I couldn't agree more.  We have several private spots but will spend more time hunting public land during winter bow than private.

South Jersey I can show you a nice secluded piece of state land in Bevan tract? Its pretty thick laurel and blowdowns  I have a summit ladder setup there. Best I can do. Decent winter bow spot. PM me if you want to check it out.

Hey, don't overlook the WMA's. A member of the Fish and Game Council told me there are tons of deer on them and no hunters there to hunt them.

This isn't that other site.......A couple of days ago it started going down that road but soon stopped.

All good here. Very cool offer Thunderchicken.  I, like Rusty unfortunately am at the other end of the state to assist.
