Snow next week

5-8 inches next Sat into Sunday, not this weekend.  Need to check what the high temps will be during the day next week.  A cold front is going to hit toward the end of the week, and that's going to trigger the snow event.  IMHO the Monday event will be snow, but change over to rain making it a cold, wet mess.

If it does snow, it's going to melt quickly and be crappy out.  Horrible for the AM commute, but ok for the evening one.

3-5" this Monday, 5-8" next weekend, with 1-3" mid week just for fun, according to wunderground.

This is what I see for Haskell (the center of the known universe):

Highs in the high 30s means melt and rain.  However, that cold front comes in toward the end of the week, and next weekend might hold the snowpack if it remains below 32°F from now on.  I think we'll at least see another day in the 50s before Christmas.

But I would be okay with 3'-4' of snow.  Yes, I know, that's feet.  I love snow.
