Veteran Appreciation Pheasant Hunt Today

Had one hell of a good time today.

 

Trevor Anderson from the State, many volunteers, dog handlers (The Del Val NAVHDA -North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association) and NJOA (New Jersey Outdoors Alliance) provided a fantastic day pheasant hunting.

 

Truely great folks all around, everyone involved was very friendly, helpful, and professional.

 

Food was excellent, just a great group of people to be around.

 

Paired up 2 hunters with one dog handler and a dog.

 

You actually had a selected field all of your own to hunt.

 

Birds out the wha-zoo!  

 

Took out the old Winchester pump model 1200 20 gauge from 1967 for a little stroll.

 

Its been at least 30 plus years since I was pheasant hunting.

 

Bagged one cock and one hen.
