Steelhead bait, fly, egg, or bead?

I am going steelhead fishing March 12-14. I am curious as to what everyone's go to is? I do best on egg sacks. I catch a few on beads and flies. What is your "Go to?" Best fly ?

If fishing from a drift boat try either a Hot shot or J-plug let it just do it's thing behind the the boat, you can also fish them from shore using a dipsey diver. Other than that a bright salmon fly or egg sac. I'm sure the local shop will be more than happy to sell you something. ps as long as your up there you should pick up some copper or hammered copper spoons as they are hard to come by in Jersey. And they work great on Browns and Lakers.

i feel the best way to catch these fish is using a pin rod with either an egg sack or the bead a inch and a half or so above the hook
