If I didn't already have a 700 in .30-06, I would have bought it long ago.  This is a great gun and anyone on the fence will be kicking themselves when it gets sold.

If it was in .308 I'd already own it.  I love my .30-06.  Great caliber gun to shoot.  You can always find ammo for it no matter where you are, and there are a lot of choices.  Great all-around North America caliber if you're going to hunt large game (deer and up) outside of NJ.  And it's just a fun gun to shoot at the range.

 

And 700s are tack drivers, no doubt about that.  Great gun at a great price.

I can't believe nobody snatched this rifle it's cheap and a great rifle if I didn't own a bunch of iron stowed away in a safe I'd buy it believe me I don't need another rifle
