I havent had the privilege of fly fishing this fall I wonder how the river levels are I imagine low as anyone been out or no

i drove to the gorge about a month ago. its looks like a creek.

Why they have not called a drought is beyond me. Everywhere you look is pathetic.

got a good call today the last 2 days been epic along the beaches I got snags rigged and ready to rock tomorrow bass and blues on live bunks

The river levels are horribly low. We were and may still be setting new record low levels on the South Branch of the Raritan daily ! I am a guide at Shannons Fly and Tackle in Califon but have been telling people to wait for better conditions. The water is low and super clear , so the fish are spooky and get too good of a look at your offering . I had a customer back out of a trip this morning because of the weather, and I was actually glad he did !
