It’s practically on top of us. Or at least it will be. Looking forward to another Christmas get together with some quality people. Make sure you attend this year!

I called in the annual reservation today. It’s 6:00pm until ?? In the “Animal Room” this year. Friday, December 15th. No, NOT tonight @Kilbo, but I’ll meet you if you PM me any time! 
 

I guess it’s been a lot of years now, because Tony (female) at Pub 199 in Arlington recognized me and said she was waiting for the annual call. This event is a must make and annual, so if you’re jammed up this year, next year it will be either 12/13 or 12/20. I might have to run a poll for that one. I bet the 13th is bad because it’s Friday of 6 Day and the 20th might see other commitments for many.  But we always get together!  It’s been so long, I can’t remember who I inherited this from (?). But it goes back to NJH days.

I know the earth is melting because of climate change and all but if we do get ice or snow and I can work OT.

Here’s my dirty little secret as the person that handles the booking each year for 15(??) years now going back to the NJH days: I call and tell them up to 40 and they don’t ask for more info. In fact, Tony  knows my voice when I call. I asked for the “Animal Room” which I always called the Game Room (Tony corrected me) and she looks forward to seeing our crew and loves how we hold our dinner each year. We are also great tippers. 

Alright with +1s, I believe we have 15 RSVPed.  That seems a bit light compared to previous years!  Be sure to RSVP.  I'll be ordering door prizes this week, so a close head count would be good!

I’m going to put a post in Gatherings to steer them here. We normally get over 30 including the “Covid years”.
