As long as its nots raining, I'll be hunting!

Usually wait until October . But may get out if weather is cool. My freezer also pretty low.

Seen more bear too.  Been getting just a doe and fawn once or twice a week going by any one of my cameras.  Moved a camera again tonight and took down 2 others to put back out someplace else tomorrow.  Running out of someplace else's without going to another zone that opens later.  At least eab will only be a 2 week loss this year.

Bear becoming a problem especially if you bait. Ruined several of my hunts last year. Maybe no bait this year just runs  to and from feeding and bedding areas . Old school . 

I'm going to try saddle hunting this year, I put out half a dozen presets in trees this weekend.  I'm using the JRB method, you use the rope to climb the tree, no steps no sticks.  I'm an out of shape grandpa and can climb up 30ft in less than 3 minutes.  I'll be pre-rigging trees every weekend until mid September.

It's kind of early to be trying the Jack Harris approach to killing a quality deer.

I stopped using even minerals this year during the summer.  Liked to watch them grow but the last couple years only been getting bears in it and coyotes peeing on it.  Still getting a lot of bear just having them out watching trails.  Most of the deer trails of years past are now bear and coyote/bobcat trails

How many posts will be written about jerks stealing cameras & stands this season as well as guys hunting around someones corn pile !

Think I'll stick to complaining about all the cellcams in every spot I hunt.  Saw a guy heading out into the woods today with a backpack and a suitcase.  Probably had 15-20 cellcams in the case that he was going to sprinkle throughout the woods in all my spots

I hunt some of the most known public land  including wmas and very rarely see sign of any one or run into people.  Sounds like you need to relocate

I don't run into hunters during bow season either. Just their cameras are out there everywhere.  They're sitting home waiting for a buck to show up on one of them.  Only seen a few cameras before cell cams.

I can't believe the season is only a month away. I am a broken record player.....just can't hunt in heat. Doesn't feel like it should to me.

They are monitoring which spot your walking around at to decide where they are going to hunt .

Thats why you never see them when your there

Been nice in the morning, 50's, cool breeze.  Hope it stays this way or cooler.  Not going to see much movement other than early mornings and just before dark until the rut starts
