  1. Yes, very similar. However, to have the DK designation you must abide by strict and consistent breeding requirements including physical/conformation standards as well as proven hunting ability. The NADKC has good information on the DK breed and requirements. http://www.nadkc.org/faqs.html

  3. Goretex. Neoprene is too hot and doesn’t breathe. Only time i use neoprene is cold weather duck hunting.
  4. Felt it in Clinton and spoke to people in NYC and as far as eastern Long Island and they all felt it.
  5. Then I’d check out the Ruger American. I have one in 17HMR and it’s incredibly accurate.
  6. Depends on what you want to do with it. For relatively inexpensive and accurate I’d look at a Savage or Ruger American bolt gun. I’d get a 22lr for the low cost of the ammo.
  7. This guy guides and has a lot of good articles. https://troutbitten.com Jerry at South Branch Outfitters (Shannon’s) in Califon guides and does euro nymph. As far as tackle goes, I’d start with a 10’ or longer 2 or 3 weight euro nymph rod. For a reel, make sure it has a full cage or you risk the thin fly line or mono rig slipping between the spool and reel frame which is a hassle. I’m in Clinton and would be happy to show you the equipment, rigging and flies. If you have any interest in a Syndicate P2 10’ 2 weight, I have one that was only used a few times that I’d give you a good deal on.
