  2. Life is to short to stay mad at anyone for long. Got to put disagreements behind you and move on.
  3. You are liable to be the one in cuffs if you start cutting valve stems. Be smart and let the LE handle it.
  4. Sounds like you have a decision to make on your own !

    Skydiving

Cross Keys has been at it for a lot of years, and crap happens. It takes special will to jump and not everyone has it. Especially with a full pack, loaded with ammo and a rifle.

    Nasty SOBs

I prefer something a little more traditional.
  7. I HAVE A SPECIAL PRAYER REQUEST for my best friend and hunting partner of over 40 years Bob Kostrub. For those of you that know me well you know I do not have many real close friends and of the few I do have there is a best friend and that is Bob Kostrub, we have been hunting partners for as long as I can remember. Bob is 81 yo and is having heart surgery this upcoming week and I ask all my friends for your prayers for a successful surgery for him. He dont look that age but he is and he has been humping the trails and water ways with me for a long time . Bob is the guy on the far right of this picture. Please say a prayer for him this week.
  8. I know I am going to take some heat over this response but here goes. I think your idea is admirable and shows great love for you daughter but I do not agree you should live your life so you can hand here all your assets when you die. It has always been my philosophy to raise my children to be self sufficient and the only way In my opinion that can be done is not hand them everything they might want. Now I am not saying dont help them because everyone needs help once in a while and that giving that help is enjoyable for you and your children. If you do it to often they do not learn the lessons you learned from your hard work. You risk them becoming dependent upon Dad for all their lives and when the day comes for dad to leave this earth, which surprisingly may come at any age not just after retirement, they may find themselves penny less and without the skills to take care of themselves because maybe dad dies in his early years after a illness that financially drains his resources leaving his children no cash just memories and I myself would like those memories to be of a relationship of love and learning how to stand on their own. Then when the days comes that you go if you do have a nice pot of gold to leave them they and their children can not only have some financial help with their childrens college or weddings etc and fond memories of a hard working Dad that taught them how to take care of themselves in a very unstable world. I followed those words of advice all my life. My father was a mason born of immigrants that broke his butt all his life and left little but what he did leave was a legacy of hard work and love of family and an example of how to take care of ones self and not depend on anyone and that was much better than all the money in the world.
  9. You should retire as soon as you are financially able to do so and enjoy life without the stress of work every day. Hunt, Fish , Shoot, Enjoy grand kids but most of all ENJOY LIFE WHILE YOU CAN !! There is no guarantee you will see tomorrow !
