    I use 20lb braid (power pro). then I use 12lb floro as the leader from the disk to the lure. I'm sure the line difference from the instructions will make some difference but not much. good luck let us know how you do.

    Hi all, I'm a volunteer for the NJ Chapter of Heroes on the Water. H.O.W. is a volunteer group that offers free kayak fishing excursions to injured service members. There are about 40 chapters nationally. The NJ chapter was started less than a year ago and had 3 outings in 2012. The goal for this year is 10 outings in both fresh and salt locations. This is the part where I ask for help. If anyone has a friend, family, or neighbor that has been injured serving our country and would like to take part in a great day out send an email to the address below. Everything is provided kayak, life vest, fishing gear.     I like Partagas Series S or CAO Square Press Maduro. I smoke more in the summer but always a nice way to relax. I will be at JR's on 10 tommorow after class.

    I started more than a month ago. I started tying a bunch of bass flies. also did some inspection and clean up of my tackle bag. can't wait. I plan on getting out for pike as soon as this ice is gone.
