  1. Congrats, Jake! Nice one! (Wow ... what a scary thing with the ball. So happy to hear great recovery)
  2. Though I take care of my own old bows, I took my 9-year-old to Targeteers to get a shop experience for his first deer bow. Indifference. Too busy BSing with their buddies and eating lunch. Went to Simon Peter the next day. They made it special for my boy, as did the other customers there. Even out on the little range. It was lunch time there, too ... but they gave my kid a slice and a Coke. Maybe I caught Targeteers on a bad day? Kudos to your buddy getting his kid into bowhunting.

Good man. Wife and I are regulars.
  4. Hope things continue to improve for you.
  5. I know you're not. But, you got the makings of one. Like Sox said ... that photo should be on a magazine cover. Audubon magazine, or something. You, and the other guys here, make me think of getting into nature photography.
  6. Among the best wildlife photos that have been posted at NJWW, I think. (And, that's saying a lot with all great photos people post here)
  7. Awesome AJ ... Congrats! Great job, everybody! Terrific photos!
  8. Wishing you many more Happy Birthdays!
  9. True military surplus ... cool old place.
  10. Your family is awesome. The sauce from tomatoes, make your own braciole, etc That's how it was when I was a kid and went to my Great Aunt's house in the Italian section of Elizabeth most Sundays. Now in my house, it's Prego jar sauce and meatballs from the market. You guys are keeping the traditions alive.
  11. Tonight's finals are on ESPN. There's some matches now on ESPN-U.

    Dirt Bike Riders

Yea ... some parents condone it. My son's high school classmate lived right across the street from Farney State Park, which leads into Wildcat Ridge WMA. His father condoned the boy's illegal riding. So there I am ... going to all the expense and trouble to have a family membership in a Pennsylvania mountain off-road club, and having to explain to my sons what just can't go rip up the woods here in town with his buddy. Crap parents make it hard for the good parents.
  13. You're right 1957Buck .... Camp Moore is a very worthy cause.
