After tagging along with me a few times this season, my 12 year old son expressed interest in getting his bow license. So now looking for a youth bow or a compound that he may get now and grow into over the next few years if anyone has anything they are looking to get rid of or sell. Six Mile is nice and close. Put work in and head farther in then most and you can have a lot of areas to yourself. If around for next season look into Franklin Twp (Somerset) for free permit to hunt some of the township. It seems like there may be a waiting list (even for employees) he is finally going through the process now to be approved.

My neighbor gave me rolling frame and motor for one he had started building with his son years ago. This video gave me the itch to get started on building it with and for my 10 yr old.

Been hunting Franklin public land for the last few years....had my camera stolen last year for the first time, but it was also pretty close to a hiking trail in an more open area.....so shame on me I guess. Either way, its all I got for now but it holds deer and I have been successful, I tend to go farther away from main trails and in harder to get to spots and very rarely even see people once the weather gets colder any ways any more. Dont give up.....try leaving a note or working with them in some capacity....I had guy set up a stand within 20 yrds years ago, we exchanged info so we could coordinate hunts.....not sure if that is an option for you but good luck with it.

Very lightly used API climber. Bought with the intention of using much more but it just sits in garage due to time constraints (work, family, kids).....so I'll just stick to using my sticks and hang ons. yup.....I have a few, son just got me another for xmas from his school sale. I like to have handy in my bag as a back up as well.

Seeds were started on Sunday - kids chose beets, lettuce, tomatoes, beans, carrots, onions, corn and sun flowers (few of each). So far the lettuce has already started to grow. We'll see how it goes.
