    She’s ready

After having Carpal Tunnel surgery a month ago, getting the boat ready for the season has been challenging. Doing a bit each day starting over a month ago I finally finished today. Thinking I can get out next week and leave her at her dry storage lot in Atlantic Highlands for the season. Give me a shout should we cross Waypoints this season. Good Luck and Have a Safe Season.

    Matthew’s Z 7. Everything included.
  3. No way Dan. When I moved here 25 years ago, hunting was a dream. Many different herds could be seen in a single sit. Now, I see the say doe group and only during the rut do I see some good bucks. Same goes for all 3 pieces I hunt around this location.
  4. I’ll be starting my third season there in about a week. The two issues I have are at the beginning and end of the season. Stored boats from the winter are suppose to be out by 5/1, but in my previous two years that hasn’t happened until middle of May. At the near end of October, the staff starts moving boats from their spots to accommodate winter storage. This year they moved my boat and dragged the engine about a 100 yards. I was not happy, and my complaint fell on def ears. The only other thing I’m not a fan of is the day launchers using the water manifold for rinsing, cleaning their boats and I’ve even seen vehicle washing. That complaint and answer was just tell Security. Overall, I have great boat neighbors who look out for you, and share fishing reports. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Clean air conditioned showers and bathrooms.

  6. We just felt another short tremor about 1:45, house vibrated pretty good.
  7. Live in Whitehouse Station and was in the garage. Thought my boiler was about to blow, scared the hell out of me and the wife. First for me.

Went about 2 weeks ago and everything was Delicious.
  9. Looking Excellent Dan.
  10. Bought my first shotgun, a Remington 870 pump with a Full choke barrel in 1981. Shot those slugs with great groups, and put a lot of deer down with them. Eventually bought a Hastings rifled barrel and they didn’t group well. Think I still have some in the safe also. To date I only use that 870 and love it.
  11. DV1, I tore my right bicep and had the surgery. If I could do it all over again I would have passed. I experience pain whenever I pull my bow back, like it cramps automatically. Only positive to the surgery is I have a Popeye bicep when flexed, but at 64 yrs old who cares at the gym.
  12. I’ve had 2 rotator cuff surgeries, recovered well and can still do everything I want without limitations. My last one less then a year ago created some numbness in my fingers when in certain positions, and that is painful. Seeing my Surgeon Monday to diagnose. I just dropped my wife off for a double tear rotator surgery. She done that fighting a few big stripers this spring. Good Luck.
  13. Nothing like having a fly fisherman walk through the piece with no Orange on. When I told him he should be wearing something Orange, he just waved and continued on fishing. He has a right to be there like me, it’s a township owned piece, was just trying to give him sound advice. That area is just a great deer crossing.
