  1. Thanks guys, thought so. Anyone hunting PA Saturday- good luck!
  2. Are deer harvested in PA still not allowed to be brought into NJ to be processed? They still have to be boned out, correct? I know now NJ deer can be brought into PA whole (like brought to Ely's), not sure if it's allowed the other way around this year.
  3. A few weeks ago, we were running up the Arthur Kill, just past the Elizabeth Marina where it opens up to Newark Bay. A 6pter with ear tags was swimming from the SI side to Elizabeth. Lots of deer in Staten Island. I see them all the time on the Fresh Kills site, across from Carteret.
  4. Try Quakertown Animas Hospital in PA. Worth the ride. My father and brother's dogs were done there and I took my GSP there. Checked mine out, said had her chill out a week, all good. They will set you straight. Why spend big money if not necessary? It's a business, like any other
  5. Sunday's NW worries after getting the snot knocked out of us with same scenario last Saturday. Was supposed to be 3ft at 10 seconds apart and it was 4-5 footers 3 seconds apart! We decided to turn around after 15 miles. Don't plan to subject ourselves to that im a 25fter again
  6. I can take care of you. Want young ones to start a loft? Keep them locked up for a month or 2 and then they'll keep coming back. You can put them out for the pup and reuse them since they return. Or do you just want a couple for expendables?
  7. The state stocked the fish there with our money, and now they are limiting access. Take the fish out and move them to where we can fish for them!
  8. My father and brother both had their dog's ACL's done at Quakertown. Don't remember how much, but it was half that of other places. If I remember correctly the dr that does it is only there one day a week, that's all he does. Call ahead and ask when the ACL dr is there. I'll ask my father what the dr's name was. Both dogs healed perfectly after the surgery and never had issues again
  9. Try Quakertown Veterinary Clinic in Quakertown PA. They do it all, and are reasonably priced. I was very impressed when I took my GSP there to get her ACL checked out and told my wife it's probably worth the drive to go there for everything
  10. We were out there, same day, same area you had the action until 3-3:30. Marked the hell out of them, but it was just a pick, so headed in. What time did they go off?

    European hornets

Had European hornets last summer and fall. Would get in the garage at night. Found the nest in a hole in a tree by accident. Was hooking up my boat trailer one night and left the truck door open while jacking the trailer onto the hitch. Get back into the truck, shut the door and realize they're in the truck! I jumped out and they were on the radio, speedometer, anywhere with lights. Dozens on the headlights, etc. Was ready to leave that truck running all night! Worked up the balls to jump in and shut it off. The couple in there were cold and lethargic at 5am. Squished them, started pulling out of the driveway and 2 more are flying around in there! Left my truck in the driveway with the doors open all day and drove my other truck to work. My hair still stand up thinking about it. Cut that tree down this winter.
  12. Next thing the state will come out with is that fish have Covid. They are trying anything to get everyone vaxxed, and they know we're a large group of hold-outs. Scare tactics.
  13. Cole's Country Tree Farm, rt 579 across from Gravel Hill rd. Just south of exit 11 off rt 78
  14. 1996 Aquasport 245 Explorer with twin 150 Evinrudes. New zippers and plastic on top. Full storage cover. Runs great. No trailer. Currently in water, fished weekly. New boat coming. $14000
