Junior arrowed one of the cooler bucks that we had on camera this season tonight… We called him “Stickers” He harvested this beauty with his Compound Bow from a ground blind at 22 yards. The best part about it is that he was wearing exactly what he has on in the pictures. He hustled home from his college baseball ⚾️ practice to grab his bow and got in the blind for the last hour wearing what he had on at practice. That just goes to show you that if the wind is right, it can work out. He confirmed that the wind was in his face when he got in. He didn’t even get set in the blind until after 6 PM and shot this guy in less than a half hour… He made a perfect shot & the buck didn’t go very far at all, dropping within sight at about 40 yards! The Mathews V3 got the job done ☑️ once again & I’m running out of superlatives for this kid… His buck has 14 scoreable points that are more than 1 inch, has a unicorn 🦄 horn growing out of the middle of his head and he hit the 200 pound mark field dressed at V. Roche & Son Butchers in Whitehouse Station 🚉 For perspective, my son is 6”1 & weighs 225 pounds… September 13th, 2023 Zone 13 (Somerset County)
