Good day to be in a box blind with a heater I'm sure deer are moving this morning.

You very well might of, before livsintrees bough the property above me I think people used to walk through the back side of my property and into that top piece.

I absolutely love this weather, snow and cold . We spent the day outside making venison chili over the fire , few cold beers ,some venison summer sausage we made the other day and hot chocolate for the kids. Kids enjoyed riding their quads in the snow. With my dad passing in October we got my mom out to hang with us for the day too. Great day wish this cold would stay for a bit longer.

Wood stove insert..my heat rarely gets turned on we burn all winter 24/7.

I stayed at one of them hotels out there few years back when I did a self guided hunt, $55 a night and the cleaning ladies wore stilettos and one of the maids out fits you find at a porn shop 🤷🏼‍♂️.. needles to say i didnt leave a single thing in my room went out to hunt and showered in flip flops...did have a good time hunting

Doe down.. first deer with the. Crossbow ...always used swhacker broad heads with the compound bow so tried them with the crossbow, definitely didn't disappoint. She went 40 yds.

I'm heading out with the bow to a stand I haven't hunted yet this season ...see what happens wind really picked up

I stopped when a few years back I went out in the snow to check my cameras and few days later when I went to hunt one of the stands I noticed a set of track so we the top of my foot prints , when I got to the first stand camera was gone and the tracks continued to follow my next set of track to my next camera. Guess what 2nd and then the 3rd camera gone..3 cams stolen just like that because of walking to them in the snow ....stopped hunting/checking cams in the snow since. Looking forward to tonight's rain so I can get out a few more times

Was going to try and get out with the bow this morning but have to go into work at 2 to play with the snow through the night so figured I'd sleep in and relax. Maybe next weekend , hopefully some snow is left by then.
