Savage 220 At Dicks Sporting Goods

Just got their flier in today's mail, they have the Savage 220 for $520....just giving the heads up since I saw a few members mention they may purchase one

If guys are deciding which Accutips to shoot/sight in once their 220 is purchased, do not assume the 3" are NEED to get rounds. When I purchased my 220 I shot both the 3" and 2 3/4" Accutips sighting it in. Both shot well, however I found that the 2 3/4" were more accurate at long ranges. Accurate and devastating to say the least.......

Yeah that's a good price...

I bought 2 last year , 1 in regular blued for that price and another in stainless/camo and I believe it was around 650

definitely agree.... I'll buy 3" if available otherwise 2.75 is fine. Both shoot well

There is only an increase in velocity of 50 fps when shooting the 3" compared to the 2 3/4", that is not even noticeable in trajectory.

shoot both at 100 yds more you will see a difference

Me and my buddy both have same gun set up exactly the same bought together mine shoots 3" way better his 2 3/4 way better every gun is different
