So I just was cutting up this deer and the broadhead a Muzzy MX 3 unscrewed from the arrow inside the shoulder. Both the head and arrow had been encased with what looked like cartilage. Deer are amazingly tough. I screwed the head on one of my arrows and it spun like it was new.

How did the insert unscrew??

I don't know for sure but I would assume because the arrow passed through the spine and the shoulder blade when It walked it would wedge the arrow and put pressue on the blades. Must have been very painful but the arrow was through the shoulder and next to the broadhead.  Also the spine had healed so that the hole was only the diameter of the arrow shaft. Pretty amazing how tough these animals are!

Not going to spot burn but you are more than welcome to name the park to me in a PM and I will confirm if you are right.  Couldn't tell you anything about the arrow itself just what you see in the picture. Think it may be a Beman based upon the slick finish but that's just a guess.
