Finally some cooler weather although only for a day. 42 degrees. Just had a nice size do walk by at 20 yards. Hope something big takes same track soon.

Just had what was either a large button buck or tiny spike walk under the stand. Large buttons with 1/2" of thin bony points protruding

Hunting a diff side of this massive property. Found a huge fresh scrape and set up 20'yards away. We did jump a rack buck nearby when scouting it at noon. Some decent acorns in this area and it's pretty thick both sides of ridge.

Just saw a wide rack chasing a doe down in the bottoms. Could not grunt him off. 5 minutes of mayhem now it's quiet.

My other Ohio buddy up in Tuscawaras county where I hunted last two seasons shot his second consecutive 150+ Inch Halloween buck this morning. Out of brand new stand I hung and left there last fall because it just felt like best spot for a stand. He green scored it at 161. 5.5" bases. He saw 9 other bucks this morning he said it was wild. He was begging me to hunt there on the two hundred acres but promised this other friend I would join him on his Vinton County lease.
