Delicious maple breakfast sausage from Jorge & Sons

Just had some delicious maple breakfast sausage from Jorge. Absolutely phenomenal.  Mixture of packaged loose ground and links.  I tried the ground and best breakfast sausage I ever had.   Also got some jerky, and 10lbs of Sage dinner sausage along with steaks cutlets and chopped meat.  I can't believe how much meat I got back off a 169 lb buck. My freezers are full between that and a September doe.  Ohio next!

Jorge is the best I ever used. His shop is immaculate and his sausage and other products are amazing. He has a cooler where he properly ages the meat before cutting it. That creates meat that is very tender even from I mature buck. 

 

I have heard some people complain about his personality. I never had a problem with him. Once when he was still in Rockaway I brought him a deer on Thanksgiving. He accepted it with no problem.  The first time I went to his new place in Newton I had trouble finding it. I called, got voice mail and didn't leave a message. He called me back in two minutes anyway because he had my number in his contacts from the last time I used him. Two years ago I arrived early to pick up my meat. I hung out in his shop and watched for about a half hour while they packaged my chopped meat and sausage. The level of professionalism was/is remarkable.

To give you and idea - Sage sausage was $3.99 a lb.  Same as the breakfast sausage. Jerky was $20 a lb, but you can get 4oz bags too. Summer sausage which I got from my doe was a little more than regular sausage, I am thinking it was $5.99 or 6.99 a lb but don't quote me. The summer sausage was just beyond outstanding...  What I live most about this is the giant walk in chiller, and the fact that I DON'T get my deer back for weeks on end.  I love fact that it's just hanging there aging on a meat hook.   33 Old Stage Coach Rd, Newton NJ (Hampton Township, not far from Kittatinny High school)

Not sure what you mean.  I am fairly confident that you get your deer and only your deer back...
