Terrible..

I hunt kingwood and was out last night with my dad and brother.

Wind was terrible that's why I opted to stalk instead of sit in a tree.

Hope he's okay

I could never stand wearing one either. They just always seemed to be in the way.

Started wearing a rock climbing harness last year and now always use it.

Way more comfortable , almost to the point I dont even know its on.

And I Was ever to fall I like how much easier it is to get back onto the stand

you would think guys would wear a harness by now I always wear a harness and there's no need to be 20ft in a tree there's so much vegetation.I hope he pulls thru and is ok and has a speedy recovery.

I had a close call about 10 years ago.......it was cold and I had my hands in my pocket......climber seat shifted and I couldn't balance myself.....harness saved me from injury or death.

 

NEVER get in a tree without one.

most guys that have experienced a fall wearing a vest will tell you they would have rather tried their luck without it.
​your balls literally get smashed back in from where they came.
​then if youre not fit enough to get down, hanging there is a slow death as well.

​don't get me wrong, I still wear mine. just make sure you have a protocol for when shit goes down
