When I got my hunting license in 1971 there was about 7,000 licensed Bowhunters in the state of New Jersey when they legalized compound bows in New Jersey 73/74? I think that number tripled because of that bow,was like the model t of cars, people who could not shoot a stick/ recurve bow found it easier to be a better shot once they got to anchor with the 25% let off.

See it's the compound that destroyed our deer herds and ruined bowhunting.  Real bowhunters don't shoot a compound.    :banghead:  :shakehead:  :doh2:  :pout:  :crying:  :vomit:  :hmmm:  :censored:  :censored:  :censored:

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

My first new compound was a black tail. The 2 wheel version on that bow. Without the idler pulleys.

The blacktail was a little more quiet due to less cable slap.

Next one was a Kodiak 2 wheeler.

Then an Alaskan. And a tamerlane for target.

Same Era as that was guys shooting the Jennings model T .

Then the super T and arrowstar came out.

I still shoot both the original yellow and the bear greenies out of my stick bow today
