My son is shooting both guns above, but his muzzleloader is my.50 cal Thompson Center Black Diamond w/Jim Shockey Gold powder 100 grains, 250 grain Hornadys, that I gave to him when I bought the Accura.

How do you like that Jim Shockey gold ?

Matthews Z7, 28" draw, 65#, 465gr total arrow weight tipped with 125gr razor sharp VPA bh's. I feel more confident with that than any other weapon. I barely even hunt 6-day as it is, after deer hunting since September, as well as the typical "brown its down" 6-day mentality that still exists around me, it's not my favorite week. I do have a TC old hawken style muzzy (no scope) that I could dust off. Still - I am probably more lethal with the bow though I never found that muzzleloader to be all that accurate.
