Hunting Down Weapon in December Bear Season

Starting a few years ago, the state amended the weapon rules for the 6-day gun season for deer by allowing hunters to hunt "down weapon" by using a bow during the 6-day season to fill the gun tag provided the hunter had both a gun license and a valid archery license. Can't help but wonder if they will allow the same for bear season...using a bow for bear during 6-day. What do you think?

Not as of last year. But with no bow season at the time maybe they changed it.
