Entry Rules/Fees:

• Team based 
  • Randomly chosen teams of N members, N to be determined based on the number of entries.
  • Entry fee is FREE
  • Prizes awarded from a percentage of donations/contributions.
• Individual based
  • Members can enter both Team and Individual contests
  • Entry fee is $10
  • Prizes awarded from a percentage of donations/contributions and/or individual entry fees.

How to Enter the Contest(s):

• Reply to this topic indicating you are in and specify for what contest(s).
• Submit payment to enter any fee based on contests.
  • Send entry fees directly via Paypal Gift to admin@njwoodsandwater.com or use the site sidebar donation button to submit your payment/donation.  Here's a direct link as well:  Donation Link
    • In the Paypal notes, please specify the following in the Notes section:
      • Your NJ Woods & Water username 
      • Your payment breakdown:
        • Individual entry
        • Donation
  • If you need to send payment other than PayPal, please PM me and we will arrange for it some other way.
• Once payment is received, I will update your signup entry to indicate you are PAID! 

Official Rules:

• NJ Woods & Water registered members only are permitted to enter the contest.

• All entries must be from a valid participant in the Team or Individual based contests.

• Members must enter the Team contest before 1:59PM EST September 9th, 2016.  

• Teams will be randomly drawn on or after 2:00PM EST September 9th, 2016.

• Members can enter the Individual contest any time throughout the season, but contest entries will only be accepted if they animal entered is taken after the member's contest signup date.

• All entries must be submitted in the Official NJ Woods & Water 2016-2017 Deer Contest Entries and Scoreboard

• All deer must be legally harvested in New Jersey.

• All entries must include the NJDFW Confirmation Number.

• Hunters may enter TWO deer. Only ONE may be antlered.

• All deer must be submitted within 14 days after the season in which they were harvested ending, per the zone regulation set dates.

• Upgrades to existing entries are accepted per the submission guidelines and rules above.  No limitations on the number of upgrades.

Scoring:

• Doe Entries:
  • 10 points each
  • Plus Picture Credit (see below)

• Buck Entries:
  • 10 points
  • Plus the number of points they have (see below for Buck Point Credit Scoring)
  • Plus their inside spread credit (see below for Buck Spread Credit Scoring).
  • Plus Picture Credit (see below)

Scoring Credit System:

• Picture Scoring Credit:
  • Picture of deer only:  2 point
  • Picture of you with the deer:  4 points
  • Picture of you with the deer and weapon used:  6 points
• Buck Point Credit Scoring:
  • Measurement requirements:
    • Minimum point length is 1" measured from the base of the tine, where the main beam would cross through.
      • Rounding up measurement is not permitted in 1" requirement.
    • Closeup photos of points not clearly visible or of questionable length must be provided if needed/requested by NJ Woods & Water admin/moderators.
  • Measurement guideline picture:

• Buck Inside Spread Credit Scoring:
  • Group A:
    • Measuring:  0-9"
    • Points Awarded:  3 points
  • Group B:
    • Measuring:  10-16"
    • Points Awarded:  6 points
  • Group C:
    • Measuring:  17"+
    • Points Awarded:  9 points
  • Measurement requirements:
    • Minimum point length is 1" measured from the base of the tine, where the main beam would cross through.
      • Rounding up measurement is not permitted in 1" requirement.
    • Closeup photos of points not clearly visible or of questionable length must be provided if needed/requested by NJ Woods & Water admin/moderators.
    • Closeup photos of the inside spread measurement are required.
      • All spread measurements round to the nearest inch.
        • Example: Spread measurement is 16.5"....rounds up to 17". 16.4" rounds down to 16".

they disqualified me last year Cuz I didn'the add my face in the pics on njhunter but I killed a bunch this year it's gonna be more.it's a shame it could have helped the team I was on
