I saw a doe on Rt. 17 N in Paramus today. She was laying in the fast lane, traffic backed up. She had her head up, but was clearly crippled. I don't know how the cops would put her down in the middle of the highway.

Did you go back to make sure it was dead? Anytime I hit an animal I always go back to make sure it's not suffering.

What do u do if its not dead?.. Run over it again?.. stab it with a knife?.. Beat it with a baseball bat?.. Take it to a vet?... Or just stand there looking at it until it passes?.. :whatever:

:D

With my wife and daughter in the truck that wasnt possible....I was doing 25 mph or more and the fawn came at me full speed so I doubt it survived...

Well Jackass.. I do whatever it takes to end it's suffering. Small animals,I have run over again. Deer, I have stabbed or cut their throats. Are you sure that you're a hunter? I'm really starting to doubt it,especially if you don't know how to end an animal's suffering

One time a friend had a doe in its yard for a few days and it had a broken leg....she eventually called my Mrs. and I was told to end its suffering.....I brought a rope a blanket and a good knife....with the thoughts of throwing the blanket over it...tying it down and slitting its throat....well by the time I cornered it , even with a broken leg it jumped over a fence and disappeared into the woods.....
