Is there a kayak I can take fishing in the ocean that won't flip if I hook a bigger fish

There are quite a few, and when you do hook a big fish you get towed around. You should get a sit on top and for fishing I would suggest a Hobie with peddle drive

A friend just bought a large, stable Kayak from Costco recently. He liked it so much he went back and purchased another for his family.

 

I will try to find out what make, model, and cost.  He told me that it was the most stable unit he has ever seen or used, so much that one can stand on it and still feel secure and stable. ( He weighs between 260-270 and is @ 7 ft tall. I believe it is equipped with accessories for fishing as well.

He just got back to me...The ones purchased were called "Future Beach Angler" 12' sit on kayak w/paddle..

 

He paid $279 for one (on clearance) and $399 (full price) for the other after he liked it so much he told me.

 

The weight limit is 425 lbs and has two rod holders built in...
