I shot my 2nd biggest bird on Monday. Bow bird weighed 24lbs 8 ounces 10 1/2 inch beard 1 1/2 inch spurs. I could not get this bird to break strut for a long time as he was with a hen at 50 yrds. I decided to stop calling..20 minutes later he couldn't take it anymore and decided to investigate where the invisible hen went. He came to 10 yrds and I let the arrow fly right into center of his chest. I love bow hunting these birds. It's a great challenge.
