Welcome Brian!

Anthony, I scope out hot deals on golf now. Got on eagle ridge for like $45. Really nice course but pretty tight. Nice layout though!

Mattawang is pretty nice too up north more. And Architects out at the end of 78 is beautiful!

I actually just played Mattawang the other day, good course plays 6800 yards from the tips, my hunting property is literally 5 minutes or so from there as well. Don't get me started on Architects, I'm still looking to play there one of these days and I always use Golf Now for courses, I leave work early sometimes to play a round

Nice!  Yeah that's pretty long, I don't usually play the tip but try hang in the 6000-6400 area.

What's up with Architects? Not able to get on or just haven't gotten a chance to?

I'm going to try to squeeze 9 in after work at Ramblewood today

Just haven't been able to get there. My boss played it a few months ago without telling me. I think sometime in the fall I will play a round there early in the morning. It's a decent drive for me since I'll be in Old Bridge.....I just started playing from the tips this year and I have been playing pretty well until I play on a Country Club when the white tees are 50 yards ahead of the tips and the par threes go from 15-180 to 190-230 lol

It's definitely worth the trip to Architects.  I drive there from South NJ to play from time to time, almost 2 hours but damn that course is nice...usually I'll go in the early AM to play 36 given the drive!  If you're ever looking for a weekend trip, check out around Wilkes Barre in PA.  Mohegan Sun nearby for casino fun, and definitely hit up Jack Frost National (probably the nicest course I've been to in the Tri-state area) and Blue Ridge Trail (super affordable, three 9 hole courses, really nice courses for the money).

No doubt, when I played there it was tough. The greens were like pool tables, ultra firm and FAST. For longer shots into greens, I was basically trying to land short of them and hop on to it. Anything landed on them was just bouncing hard and rolling off if it released.

Beautiful course though, would definitely play it again!
