Hi my name is John. I was born and raised in New Jersey and never lived any where else. I have been hunting in this state for 37 years now. I hunt in Zone 8 which is in Hunterdon County. Shot my best buck back in 2012. I also hunt at my parent's farm down in Virginia. I mostly gun and muzzy hunt but, when I get the time, I do try to go out and hunt with the bow.

Is this like an AA meeting for hunters and anglers? "Hi, my name is Brian and I'm a hunter and an angler". All: "Hi Brian"
Welcome to the newbies to the site. Tarhunt, that's a heck of a buck!

I'm 33 but my body feels like it's 150 years old and I'm mentally and emotionally about 7.
Besides hunting, fishing, trapping and shooting, I like....ummm...Nope that's about it. lol Well actually there's also taxidermy, wood-working and playing guitar.
Here's a list of things I used to do for fun but can't now:
Ride Motorcycles (dirt and street)
Goaltender hockey (ice and roller)
Baseball (catcher, 3rd base)
Here's a list of things I do without any fun involved:
Work on rusted vehicles.
General home maintenance.
Wash clothes and dishes
Learn to use technology
If you're too busy to hunt....You're too busy!

Hi! I'm Courtnie. I joined this forum because I have a 130 lb puppy (yes, he still has growing to do, lol) and some hunters offered me deer at the beginning of the season for him, but none of them have panned out. So I guess I'm hoping some of you have unwanted/freezer-burned venison (or squirrel, or groundhog, or whatever) that you would otherwise be throwing in the trash that I could have for my boy. Venison is his favorite thing in the world. I know I can't legally buy venison from a hunter, but I would be happy to pay you for your gas/travel time to harvest or something. I hope this isn't obnoxious of me, but I figure it can't hurt to ask. Anyway, happy new year!

Hopefully someone can work out an exchange with you if they have any leftover meat they're willing to part with.
What part of the state are you from, so others can gauge the distance?
