Mounted a wood duck that I got a while back today. This is part one of this scean, next week will be the fox mount. The last part will be the base and sceanery.

nice. taxidermy is something i wish i could learn. how is the start up cost. as far as materials goes?

All depends on what your going to work on. I got about 600$ Into supplies. If you want to do shoulder mounts you need a mounting stand. They start around 100$ clay working tools don't buy at a taxidermy supply company I got really good ones cheep on amizon shop around. If your going to tan your own hides you need a fleshing beam or wheel beam I made mine out of PVC pipe. Need fleshing cone scalpels and fleshing knife. Then it goes into mounting supplies clay, glue, apoxy, bondo, needle and thread. I might be missing some things. You need finishing paints and apoxy scalped and when you think you got everything you need to get reference photos and if you want how to videos they have them also
