one arm too many, to be honest it wasent even set for coon, it was set for fox/yote, damn thing must of jumped to get caught in it but I seen stranger. if I wasent running late for work I would of let him go because I figured it would be blue, glad I didn't now, the smaller ones probable are still blue

can someone explain blue and the meaning to the non-trappers please.

Early skins show blue when follicles are still engorged in blood.  The leather will dry darker blue or black rather than as off white or cream colored.  Its just a sign the animals havent reached prime just yet.  Rgws coon there isnt necessarily blue by any means, but it would likely be considered as "slatey".  Fur does reach usable to even prime just before leather goes to white.  Hope this helps.  Once youve dealt with fur a while it makes sense.
