Idaho Mountain Lion Hunt

Shot this guy in Idaho a couple years ago. After the dogs picked up the trail the race was on up and down the mountains in two feet of snow for close to two hours. When the dogs treed the cat and we got to him I asked the guide on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the hardest how difficult was this hike to get to the cat. He said it was a 1. At that point I didn't care how big the cat was. It could have been a kitten and I would of shot it. I was exhausted so I shot him with my 357 ruger. It was a great experience.

My heart gets pumping when i here beagles running a rabbit,cant imagine the rush you get hearing those hounds chase a mtn.lion.
