What is your favorite way of fishing for stripers?
Mine is to Jig and Liveline. I would not even troll as a last resort

Poppers, then live lining.
as much as I dont like trolling , bunker spoons can put some serious numbers in the boat when nothing else is working.
The reaction strikes they draw can really be a day saver

I've only done trolling, clamming, chunking, and live lining...not much with poppers or jigging.
With that said, I would take live lining as my top pick, but poppers has to be pretty awesome!
Nothing beats those explosions on the surface...that's why I like the live lining, a feeding frenzy of bowling ball sized explosions all around you...just SICK!

Live lining without a doubt

Joe, I know you've been itching to get out...you've been tying rigs like a madman for every upcoming season imaginable!
Dan too, he's been making bucktails like a mofo!

Matt, loosing most of the fall run because of poor economy and hurricane hurts hard.. Look forward to this season just to fish a lot for myself.. Hopefully charters with fall into place ... I still remember our mad dash with my nephew .. Live lining.. He know drives bud.. Crazy how times flys..

I like all 3 methods. Still have Fl blood in me so I like live lining a little more.
Treestands don't demand, treestands don't complain, treestands simply ask me to sit down and listen.
