Who knows?  I watched Lee Lakosky on TV recently take a 120 yard shot with his compound bow, so maybe he needs one of these.  In case you were wondering, he missed by about 10 feet.  I was appalled to be honest, that he even attempted such a shot on a game animal.  It's just not ethical in any situation, IMO.

Both sweet looking rigs..

Choose your weapon, as long as you enjoy it and practice, go for it..

Those Scorpyd's are bad ass....

And I agree, Hawke optics makes probably the best Xbow dedicated scopes out there.. They are bright, clear and built like a tank.

Maybe Vortex with their XBR scope might be at the top in the dedicated, but damn $$$..

40 yard shot with the Excalibur Matrix 405 using a Black Eagle Executioner 20" arrow with a 110 grain brass insert and 100 grain Slick Trick standard and a red Lumenok, sporting 2" Blazer vanes and a Hawke XB30 Pro SR Reticle scope.. Total completed arrow weighs 437 grains...

Going to test out the Schmidt soon, 34 mm tube, double turn turret ,Gen II ret, Mil , LP.. 3 X 12 x 50. Its got crazy adjustment. The rings are from Near manufacture in CA. I like first focal plane ret due to the accuracy benefit and the ability to pull in cross hairs in low light.. German and Austrian glass top shelf!

And Nice TAC Lemmy!

Have you seen the Spuhr ISMS scopemount in 34mm?  My friend has them to matching a March to a Tac50.  There's a level built in which I particularly like.

Right now I am a NightForce guy.  They may not have the best glass.  However, I believe their clicks are the best.  When you think about it, if you don't have precise clicks, no matter how good the glass, you basically have an expensive monocular.

BTW, I have a Nikon Bolt XR on my xbow.  May look in to a red dot.

S&B has accuracy guarantee for 30 years with the scope. Night force I think is second focal plane retilce or they were, 2nd focal plane ( when you magnify the scope the cross stay the same size ) doesn't stay in proportion with the target. That being said 1st focal plane scope are accurate in all power magnifications compared to 2nd being more accurate in specific power ranges as compared to others.. No I haven't seen the Spuhr ISMS scope mount yet, good reviews?

Can't afford one right now, so all I can offer is second hand info and what I have personally seen.

If you have a heavy hitter, the ISMS may be the way to go.  My friend uses one to mate his March to a Tac50.  He regularly shoots screamers at 1000ya. Thus, we know it cannot be too bad.

If you look at the back of mount, there is a level built inline. Again, that's a nice feature for me.  Don't particular like those add on levels.

May be overkill for those of us limited to NJ distances - 300ya.  However, for the long range crowd, might be a must have.

I have Nightforce steel 30mm rings on my heavy hitter.  I saw a few people that used 4 rings on the one scope to help react to recoil.
