The only time I had antelope was when I hunted in Wyoming.  A lot of people say they don't like it as much, I guess because of the "sage" area and inherent taste?  I don't know, I thought it was super tender and quite good!

Nice goat what part of Wy. was he hunting and was it outfitted or DIY?

I like their meat my wife can take it or leave it but one of the Pronghorns I shot was my friends daughters very first red meat that she eat and she had been turning her noce up at all the regular stuff like Pork Beek Chicken etc.

Hey John, he's hunting in Gillette on a DIY hunt.  Speed goats all over he said, two years in a row he's shot one in the first 45 minutes of his hunt.  The other guys he's with are still hunting though.

45 min.! Impressive over water, a fence opening or has he masterd the fine art of light bending and can walk right up to them?
Either way I remain impressed and think you need to smarten up and get out there with him :  )

I think they do a mix of spot and stalk and water hole hunting.

One of them is currently sitting on a windmill overlooking a watering hole

Ah I'll be meeting up with him this fall to do some whitetail hunting and definitely visiting ND in the future!
