Tuna Bite is Hot!!! BFT, YFT & Bonito all day long

Bow season is still a month away, but Tuna fishing is off the hook right now!(no pun intended) I'm at work right now so I'm just going to copy and paste what I wrote on my FB page. I just have to say, if you enjoy fishing and you can get out, do it and you will have the time of your life.

 

Had another amazing day on the Sykk Physh. Another day full of firsts. I watched schools of flying fish, A Mola mola leaping out of the water, and hundreds of rays swimming 25 feet below the boat. I caught my first Bonito & Yellow Fin tuna.... It's amazing how quickly the deck of a boat can go from a nice relaxing cruise, to instant mayhem as multiple reels start screaming. I have always enjoyed fishing, but the last two seasons of fishing with Captain Joe Gahrmann on Sykk Physh charters has turn that passion for fishing into a life long passion for the sea and offshore fishing. Can't wait to get back at it. Tight lines!
