Many came to the call when I asked for help in supporting the ESOS Boycott and together, we succeeded, along with people from other sites, people we've never met, in closing down the ESOS in defense of our 2nd Amendment Rights.

But now, it's in our own backyard !!!

I don't expect that anyone could re-arrange schedules and get down to any of these Governor's Task Force Hearnings next week, but please take the time to compose and submit a letter. It is so vitally important for us all to unite and stand up and be heard at this critical point in time !!! Please try to be clear and concise and respectful, but most importantly, WRITE A LETTER NOW !!! ALL OF OUR FUTURES DEPEND ON IT !!!

Governor's NJ SAFE Task Force Holds Public Hearings Next Week in Camden, Lincroft, and Newark

WHAT: The Governor's NJ SAFE Task Force -- established on January 17, 2013 to study and make recommendations on the intersection of gun control, addiction, mental health, and school safety in New Jersey -- seeks public input and will hold three public hearings on these important issues. To allow input from as many people as possible, the Task Force will hold hearings in the northern, central, and southern parts of New Jersey.

WHO: The hearings are open to the public. Members of the public will be given an opportunity to provide a brief statement on the issues of gun control, addiction, mental health, and school security. The focus of the comments should be on the charge of the Task Force -- to understand how we, as a State, can better address and prevent acts of violence in our society. Because of time constraints and in the interest of ensuring all who wish to make a statement are given the chance to do so, the Task Force asks that comments be limited to 3 minutes.

Members of the public who cannot attend the hearings but wish to contribute to the work of the Task Force may do so by providing written submissions to the following email address:

NJ-SAFETaskForce@njdcj.org.
