Had birds all around me all morning. Watched a tom mate a hen at 40yrd. Then at 9:20 I had a hen come by with this guy in tow. 25 yrd shot with my Mathews Creed. Bird weighed 22lbs 9 oz had a 11" beard and 1 1/4" 1 3/8th" spurs. Bird scored 70.895 nwtf. Second bird this year that broke the 70 mark.

Nice job! And with the bow too....Save some for next year. lol

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
