My buddy passing it on in North Dakota!

I was talking to my buddy DJ on his drive home to North Dakota from Ohio the other day and he said he was taking his step son out for a little turkey hunting behind their place once he got home. Guess it didn't take too long for them to knock a couple down! DJ has always been an incredible friend and father, hats off to him for all he's done for everyone and anyone that comes into his life!

Here's his story from today...

What do you do when you spook birds going to your blind? You setup the decoys and start a series of clucks, purrs and an occasional lite yelp. After about 20 minutes I see a gobbler coming toward us at an all out run. Then Matt spots his buddy. They hung up at about 70 yards so I did a couple of lite clucks. They started coming again and then saw the AvianX decoys. Within a few seconds they were under the fence and the fans were up. At 20 yards Matt and I both took our safeties off and I told him to shoot when ready. 10 seconds later we had our first father & son double. Making memories is what it’s all about. Pass It On!

And a couple pictures of he and Matt!
