I thought this was a like/dislike system, but it's really a like and then unlike (if you liked) system.
I'd really like to have a dislike option and with enough dislikes, the thread or post gets removed.
I'll see what I can find!

You might want to give that “enough dislikes, the thread gets removed†idea a little more thought.. Sometimes the truth in something is ugly and not well received.. What you may wind up accomplishing with that feature is you will only have a bunch of threads with a bunch of posters who do nothing but agree with each other… Not much to be gained when there is no dissenting Points of view..

What you can't see right now as a Registered User (see the title below your nickname), is that once you are an NJFNG Member, you will have the option to bump the Warning level of other users. This puts the control in the hands of the community. There are warning levels with action that will be taken, from post suspension to temporary bans to permanent bans. This will be a bit of a learning curve and will be adjusted as needed to help balance the community.
In the interim, I will be looking for the Like/Unlike option as well, just from a thread/post scoring and popularity perspective, and also to help control unwanted threads (again in the community's hands). For now, anything that is completely off base can be Reported and the mods will review it and take the necessary action!
I appreciate the input though, that's all good insight and recommendations!
