Page rank is improving! Great job and big thanks to the NJW&W members!

NJ Woods & Water has been improving on Google page rank with some pretty competitive search terms!

 

Some rank terms that have been targeted since the site started and their current Google Page Rank:

NJ Hunter: Page 1 on Google    (obviously a competing term with the established site, but a common reference for NJ Hunters)

NJ Hunter Site: Page 1 on Google

New Jersey Hunter: Page 1 on Google

New Jersey Hunter Site: Page 1 on Google

NJ Hunting Site: Page 1 on Google  

New Jersey Hunting Site: Page 1 on Google

NJ Hunting: Page 3 on Google   (a very competitive term across a multitude of sites/markets)

New Jersey Hunting: Page 5 on Google   (also a very competitive term and multi-word that increases the disparity and competitive nature of the term)

 

While it may not seem significant, that's a great accomplishment in such a a short period of time!

So I just wanted to extend my thanks to all the members of NJW&W who have helped the site get to where it's at in less than a year!

 

Remember, the more unique content we post here (i.e. isn't shared across a multitude of sites), the higher the site will rank over time and the quicker it will grow!

It's that unique content that users otherwise can't view/find on other sites that will drive traffic here!

 

I'll keep doing what I can to come up with ways for you guys to enjoy the site more and more moving forward, as well as offer more unique content of my own!

And the more traffic I can drive here, the more I can monetize it and give back to the community!  That will take some time to build up, but ultimately much of it is in your hands!

So keep doing what you're doing, and let's keep building the site up!

There were some GREAT discussions in those threads for sure!

And that is a perfect example of some unique content that does indeed add value to this site!

Cross-posting links helps too.  If you frequent other sites and they start up a deer habitat discussion, posting a link to the discussion on this site boosts the site ranking also.  That doesn't mean you should spam the crap out of other sites, but when the occasion merits dropping down a link or two, it helps the site ranking.

 

Does this site have Google analytics embedded into the pages?  If so, you know how cool it is.  If not, you don't know what cool metrics you're missing.
