Hit up Blackriver today for birds

My days off from work are Sunday and Monday, so? Mondays are all I have to hunt birds I went to blackriver with another guy I met on the other site, we hunted only one field for two hours, and in that field we put up a total of 7 birds knocking down 3, then we hit a new field where I finished out my limit, with a total of 8 birds found on a non-stocking day.

Sweet, that's a good day! Felt like spring out today too, not a bad day to take a gun for a stroll through the fields!

Yeah, considering the hell I went through over the last 4 months or so it felt good to get out and hunt again, even if it is with a borrowed gun! Lol gotta get used to a double trigger! Lol

Saturday morning's rain with no breeze made it tough for most hunters to shoot limits, so there should have been plenty of birds left on Monday.  Good to see you're getting out this season.  I ran my Brittany for two youth hunters and one of the kids' father and we had a blast at Whittingham on Saturday.  The dog only pointed 3 birds, but the hunters got all three and there were plenty of smiles to go around.
