Trying to seal a deal on my target buck for January. Lots of pics of him just trying to move around to catch him in daylight. Any tips out there for this time of year?

Its all about the food source. Find it, and you plan from there.

Depends, if you are getting pictures an hour or so after dark he may be waiting til he knows it is safe. Try setting up a couple hundred yards off in the direction you think he's coming from. If you're getting daytime pictures then get up in a tree.

Whatever you do. You better do it fast. Clocks ticking . Weather is your best bet now. If you can get in the woods right before a storm front especially snow you may have a chance to catch him in the daylight. It's all about timing with hunting storm fronts in the winter. not alot of time left. get right in his bedroom well before daylight and sit ALL day Dark to Dark , if you have his bedding area locked down thats is your best option
