Grilled Venison Cheese Logs

GRILLED VENISON CHEESE LOGS. For this I used 2 lbs ground venison - no fat. 1/3 bottle of Jack Daniels sweet and spicy bbq sauce. Bread crumbs. Olive oil. Diced garlic and onions. Six Colby Jack cheese sticks. Mix ingredients in bowl until proper consistency is achieved in order to wrap loaf around a cheese stick. I made six u could easily stretch 2 lbs out to 8 or 10. Grill on medium low heat until they crisp a little on outside and cheese starts to run out. These pair very well with a Yuengling lager. Last year I made these by skewering cheese on a bamboo stick - mainly because what man would not love meat and cheese on a stick? However I have determined the stick adds no real value other than aesthetics and it’s faster to make and easier to cook without the stick. Make no mistake - this is still a manly meal as it contains 4 major man-food groups. Venison, cheese , BBQ sauce and beer.
