NJ bowhunting at it's finest

Only in NJ

Finished work with just enough time to shoot down 1hr from home to be in the tree by 345.

I climb up. Weather's perfect.

5 mins in the tree and here comes a dozen deer 35 yards out of the anti hunting neighbors thicket ..

Only 1 small one offers a 30 yard shot so I pass.

10 mins later here comes another fawn followed by neighbor and his dog.

Not his fault. He's on his land enjoying the weather. Just sucks to get all the way here and have the hunt busted at prime time is all.

Still got about an hr left .. maybe the bucks will come late.20180127_155244.jpg20180127_162741.jpg

If you shot the "Big One" today would you feel the same way?

Lol of course not.

Matter a fact I have a better way he can walk his dog to help the drive in my favor..

Saw 19 deer so far

O my thing saving the hunt is he didn't dillydally.. and it's so thick the deer probably circle back to thicket soon as he left. There's a huge thicket on my lease that isn't disturbed and it's upwind, so I'm still hopeful.

Sorry I got you beat. ONLY IN NEW JERSEY, this happened to me on November 6th, I have a thicket of state land I hunt near my house. Settle in my tree round 1pm, 3:30 I have an old man wondering through the woods picking up and planting blackwalnuts as he walks aimlessly around.

Not a complete a$$ hole just one of the dingle berries that hang off it.
