Eagles vs Viks/Pats

Come to think of it, the Jag way is very much the Giant way for beating the Pats - twice... Hmm who was the architect behind that? Well it was Tom Coughlin -who once again is putting his stamp on the Jaguars...   Tom C does know how to beat Tom B....

Maybe I should pick the Jags, as the Viking-Eagles game just seems too evenly matched for me....

Exactly Jack.  The Jags are where they are right now b/c of Tom C.  That is how he designs teams and they are playing up to their potential for sure.

I may end up eating my words, but I like the Jags and the Vikings this weekend.

On a side note, don't be surprised if Eli Manning ends up QB-ing the Jags next year.  He and Tommy C are buddies.

OR...he may end up in Denver.  That's another discussion though.

Eagles corners better have improved on defending the double moves otherwise both Thielen and Diggs will be a big problem for them.  I feel like the Eagles run game will move the ball, Ajayi will get some space and Clement might see goal line action for a TD.  Don't think it will be high scoring, but it could easily go either way.

The Vikings held Kamara and Ingram ( the best running duo in the league} to only 68 yards rushing. Ajayi likes to fumble, he better hold on to the ball, the Vikings know how to attack the ball on a runner. Blount has been non-effective this season. As far as the Jags stopping Brady, they have a great defense, but they need to get to Brady quick, because he doesn't hold the ball long, he hits his receivers quick. I'm looking forward to seeing the Jags rattle Tommy boy.

Agree about Blount, I'm not a fan.  I think the Vikings defense is well aware of Brees not having the arm he used to and stacked up their gameplan to stop the run.  They did so effectively, but the second half proved a mild arm (which Foles falls into) and run options (even being limited) can give the Vikes a run for their money.  Eagles have far more weapons with speed and size in their WRs.  Really comes down to Foles being able to execute and keep a balanced offense.  If he falls apart and the Eagles have to rely exclusively on a run heavy offense, then the Vikes can apply the same 1st half defense approach they did vs the Saints and shut them down.

I love the Jags matchup vs the Pats.  I think Belichick is gaming with this Brady hand injury hoping the Jags focus on the run more in practice, but it's all a ruse.  Unless whoever hurt Brady has already been shipped out to Cleveland as punishment (proving it), then assume Brady will be 100%.  Their run game is fair at best, so it will rely heavy on the Jags pass rush to pressure Brady quickly and their secondary to shut down receivers.  Gronk will be a problem with his shear size.  I hope the Jags can get to the big game, I don't want to see the Pats again.  To boot, Bortles has unlocked the Madden cheat code...somehow throwing for yards and TDs like he's an HOFer.  If he can keep putting up 40+ points with the defense helping out, they have a very reasonable chance of beating the Pats.  But it is the Pats...they're always in it, and never unprepared.

I almost went with Jags, but ended up putting my faith in the Eagles for hopes to advance to the final game in my season long elimination pool.

I heard Tom Brady's hand was actually severed completely, and specialists are trying to re-attach it in time for the game...

Saints offense is better at QB, running back and wide receivers and they only scored 10 points only because of turnovers!!! Philly's defense is right there with the Vikings and last 2 years averaging allowing 14 points at home.   Eagles defense has scored more touchdowns and more turnovers then Vikings. Vikings are a different team away than home and coming to Philly.

Eagles 17 Vikings 10

FLY EAGLES FLY ON THE ROAD TO VICTORY!!!

Eagles defense with the turnovers like I said   Funny some thought my post was funny. Guess it was.... I thought Vikings defense would be better. Eagles with 31??    Nick is looking good!!

Not over yet but looking good
