Was a tough morning. Saw a lot flying high.

Had great morning. Took my girlfriend and her father along with my dad. I got her her apprentice license this year, so it was her first hunt ever, and her dad's first time waterfowl hunting. She shot 2 black ducks and 2 geese. Her dad shot 3 geese (1st bird he ever shot was banded, go figure). We rounded out with another black and our goose limits.

Didn't see a whole lot of birds up north . Did manage to shoot 6 between 3 of us . And of course had 5 mallards dump into the goose rig which ended 2 days before .

I was competing with the bottom end of the field where I can’t hunt that kept drawing all the birds but managed my limit. First afternoon hunt and I thought it was very successful.
